2009 Testimonials

Gary,

My son has been using this since it arrived and he is virtually pain free for the first time in 18 months. He does Gymnastics 6 days a week and leading into competition season, it was heart-breaking watching him hobble around, even on a reduce training regime. With 2 weeks to go until his national championships, he is training at full capacity (he is even playing sport again at school) and we are all looking forward to his best possible efforts and this is only possible with the use of Oscon.

Thank you.

Hi Gary, Just to say thank-you for re-shipping our order-it has arrived and my son has started his course of Oscon tablets. I know its only early days, but already there seems to be a difference! I will let you know the outcome. Thanks again for your helpful service.

G’day Gary. I just had to let you know how grateful my husband and I are, our son Michael has Severs, to see your child in so much pain doing something they love is not very easy to watch our son is sports mad and even at school a very athletic, active child. Michael was at the stage that he couldn’t do anything at school beside sit and watch his friends and fellow students run around and have fun he even struggled just walking up the hill to school he always had a look of pain on his face but I am very glad to say we now have a very happy and more importantly pain free 13year old who is back at football training and games.I have to tell you we were beside ourselves with worry, we did not know what to do I had taken him to every Doctor, natural therapist ,chiro etc you could think of. When I couldn’t get the answers or help I needed I started to research on my own, while doing so I came across your website I have to tell you my husband Tim is like most Aussie males very skeptical that a tablet could fix our son but he is also the coach of my sons Footy team and after watching him suffer (very badly) for the last 4 months we were both willing to give this a go THANKGOD we did my one frustration with all of this is the lack of knowledge from the Health field our son could have been pain free months ago if someone had knowledge of this product and it bothers me to think of how many other children are suffering with this, we will certainly be doing our best to spread the word. THANK YOU again Gary, from a very grateful mother.

Hi Gary, Could you please send me another bottle of Oscon 60 please? We received the tablets and heel cups and my son is just over halfway in taking the first bottle. Do I need to order online again? Here is a child who used to get out of bed in the morning and could hardly walk on his heels (one was worse than the other) and would limp around the house, this has now changed and he walks around on both heels without any sign of a limp. He also experienced pain in his heels when he tried to run and he said this has improved as he only has a little bit of pain now. I watched him run around for a little while the other day and noticed when he stopped running he wasn’t limping, which is great as he has been like this for a couple of years. He has only been running around with friends and hasn’t returned to playing any sport yet, so I will see how that goes when it happens. I would like another bottle just in case he needs to continue on for another month. Thank you so much it is just great to see any improvement as it is very hard watching your child in pain and there isn’t anything you can do to assist. We tried the podiatrist who gave him orthotics and told him exercises he needed to do and that he would grow out of it, this still did not help. If I come across any other parents who are experiencing the same problems as my son I will be definitely telling them about your product.

Hi Gary, it’s Julie from Spain.

I received the Oscon tablets last Thursday(1 week ago). My Son had been diagnosed with Osgood -Schlatters Disease in both knees…..more severe in the right knee. He is a keen football player and had got to the point where he couldn’t train or play for his team for longer than 15 minutes. Tonight was his first training session for almost 2 weeks(due to end of football season), and miraculously he didn’t have any pain! It wasn’t a “full on” training session, but even so, I couldn’t believe that he didn’t have any pain! His trainer is loaning him to another team for a match on Saturday, just to see if he has any pain or swelling, because they are going to a tournament in Barcelona at the beginning of July.

So, my Son, Harry(age 12) has been taking the tablets for exactly a week, and the improvement is phenomenal. I am truly indebted to you for the huge smile on Harry’s face after training tonight! He still has quite a large lump below his right knee that is quite tender when touched, but I’m sure if he continues with the tablets as directed he’ll be fine. We had a lot of trouble trying to get him to swallow the tablet (25 minutes of absolute hell actually), but eventually we gave him a spoonful of yogurt with the tablet in it, and hey presto it was swallowed! He is regimental twice daily with taking the tablets, so he obviously knows that they are working.

We are so grateful to you, and we’ll keep you posted with the results, but to be honest we are all extremely positive about the long term outcome.

Thank you thank you thank you.

Kindest regards,

Julie P., Spain, 5/28/2009

My daughter’s been taking it for almost 2 weeks, but by day 9 she had significant improvement. I was hoping for a miracle, but not actually expecting one. I will be letting people know of this, believe me. Thanks so much for giving me my daughter back after a year of suffering and pain medications that were not helping at all.

Sincerely,

Lena P., 5/22/2009

Hi Gary,

Can you please include some of the Severs Disease pamphlets in the box. I have a friend whose 13 year old boy is going through Severs right now, and I am hoping she’ll try the Oscon. Thanks….We are in So Cal now…..(from West Vancouver….remember my son last year, going through Severs….) No relapse…..and now my husband is taking Oscon for his arthritis in his hands and feet and is seeing noticeable improvement in his mobility in both hands and feet. Just thought you would like to know.

All the best,

Kimber F., 5/19/2009

Thanks for the quick response, I will place the order today for third bottle. I just cannot believe that all the doctors I visited at Georgetown Medical, John Hopkins Medical and local Orthopedic did not know about your product. I am certainly communicating to anyone I meet how effective your product was to my daughter. Just wish I had connected with another satisfied customer many months ago.

Thanks again,

Hello, My daughter has struggled with Osgood Slaughter since August of 2008. She is a very competitive soccer player. Due to the knee pain, she was in tears after every practice and game. We had visited numerous Orthopedics to confirm that the pain was due just to Osgood Slaughter and not some other serious injury knee injury. She practiced the recommended “RICE” therapy. This provided short term relief. Each break we took from soccer and all other fitness also provided relief, however, each time she returned the pain would return almost immediately. She also spent months in Physical Therapy, again no long term progress. I heard about your possible treatment in late March, I called in spoke to you on the phone. It sounded wonderful, however, I have to admit I was skeptical. My daughter started taking OSCON in late March, just as she left for Spring break vacation. She noticed some relief within two weeks, however, after a hard practice for game she still had some pain. She finished her first bottle of medication at the end of April, we started her on the second bottle. (about half way thru the bottle now) She finished a game this past weekend, it appeared by the way she played that her knees did not bother her. I asked her after the game, like I do after most games and practices, ” How did your knees feel today, on a scale of 1 – 10″. She responded, ” I had no pain at all!!!” She is back to training full time with her team, is again playing the entire 70 minute game (U-13 Division 1 Girls Soccer). I am just thrilled with the results!! I am very nervous about taking her off OSCON, would not want her to relapse. What do you recommend going forward? Thanks again for this wonderful product…

Jean W., 5/14/2009

Gary,

Your product is fantastic, I solved my older sons problem in a months time and now my younger son has the problem which this order is for. I have turned many grateful parents onto your product with similiar results. Having suffered with this condition when I was a boy your product is invaluable. Thanks you so much for your help and we will continue sending parents your way.

Hi Gary, This web site seems so personal. It is probably just a brilliant marketing tool, but I love how it makes me feel. My 11 year son received his patellar brace and within two days of wearing it found significant decrease in his pain level as compared to the patellar strap he was wearing before. I wanted to try the OSCON on myself first before allowing him to use it. I have had not side effects. I am looking forward to seeing his improvement. He has unfortunately missed the entire track season this year because of his OS diagnosis. I am hoping that next year this time he will be fine. Many thanks for what you do.

Dr. Lavern B., District of Columbia, 5/8/2009

I would just like to say THANK YOU!

My 10 year old daughter is a competitive gymnast and has suffered from osgood-schlatter for over a year now. Last year it was in her left knee and we had 12 months of just rest and ice and her training was limited. So when we discovered 1 month ago that the other knee had also developed OSD she was so upset that she wanted to quit gym, I just wish I had searched earlier and found your product.

My daughter has been on Oscon for 11 days now and to her delight she can actually get through training without having to stop to ice her knee 10mins after starting tumbling or vaulting. (Although she is still having to ice after training)

Her coach is calling them her magic pills. I honestly did not expect this to work but tried it anyway thinking I had nothing to loose.

Once again thank you for your product

Sincerely

Tammy, Ashburton, New Zealand, 5/7/2009

Hi Gary,

my Son (14) just finished the Oscon after almost 2 years of right knee pain following a Rugby injury. He was receiving physio too, from a guy with a pretty good track record. Without wishing to tempt fate, he appears to be free from the pain of the last 2 years, and is back running again. Anyway, thanks for the medication, I probably should have isolated his intake of it to test its effect – just happy he’s better really.

Best wishes,

Gary~

Thank you very much! I can tell a big difference w/ my son (He has Osgood-Schlatter in both knees). He is 12 years old and has played sports since he was little and of course did not want to give them up. After a year and ½ or so of playing in pain I could tell it was getting to be too much and it was very hard to watch. He is still using his knee braces during games and practices but has not complained of being in pain in weeks. I cannot thank you enough!!!!!!!!

Stephanie A., 4/20/2009

Thanks so much. I cont to give my dtr 1 a day and she is remaining pain free. If, however, I forget for a few days, tha pain starts to return!! I am so thankful for this product and recommend it all the time. My dtr. is 10 1/2 and started w/ heel pain 2 years ago- in June she will be healthy for a year!! She plays soccer at a club level and has been able to fully participate since June when she completed the 45 day course of 2/day! Thanks so much for your continued help.

Marni S., 4/15/2009

Hello Gary, My 13 year old son, Mark, has finished his first course of Oscon and we noticed a change almost immediately. The pain subsided dramatically and his running style appeared to go back to normal. Unfortunately a few weeks ago during a soccer game he sustained another injury to the side of his right knee and has been on 3 weeks rest for that. He has just started up light training again but still feels pain in the bump when he runs. Is it ok for him to continue training while he still feels this pain or should he stop immediately? It’s not an intense pain but he’s now afraid that if he doesn’t stop that it will get worse….is this true or should he continue with the light training? Ans: He can continue training. Also, are there any strengthening exercises he can do to build up the strength in his knees again and which might avoid it recurring? Ans: No. Am I able to have another bottle shipped out or do I have to go to the website again? Ans: I can submit it for you. Look forward to hearing back from you.

Kind Regards,

Sue C., 4/13/2009

Hi Gary,

My son has just finished his first bottle of the Oscon within the last week. He is 15 years old and I believe he has Severs. His podiatrist first thought it was a strain, then plantars. However he has gone through a big growth spurt and all the symptoms point to severs. Two years ago he suffered through Osgood-Schlatter. He is a cross country/track long distance runner. The pain was totally gone for about a week. He had his first race this past week (after not racing for the past 8 weeks) and is starting to go back on concrete running at times. He did feel some symptoms after his race but they went away shortly. This seems to be the case this past week. When he has hard workouts he has some minimal symptoms after the run. However the pain is nothing like he had 5-6 weeks ago. It hurt to walk!

I am now giving him one tablet a day and we are still doing ice baths (10 min. twice a day) as a precaution. Does this sound like we are on the right track?

Thank you,

Karen S., 4/13/2009

Thanks for your email Gary This is my second order for the Oscon and the Heel Cups, my 11 year old son is only feeling slight pain occasionally and has just about finished his first bottle of Oscon so wanted to get a second to keep it in his system, after reading your email I will probably reduce his dosage to once a day with this second bottle. As for the heelcup my 11 year old has managed to practically destroy the thin part that cups around the heel so I had to order another set and ordered the pads aswell as you say they should be more durable. Ive told my son to undo his shoes each time but if you know 11 year old boys they tend to be lazy if they can!!! I will be more vigilant with the second set of heel cups and may just use them in his soccer cleats for extra protection so he doesnt have to keep taking them in and out! Hopefully they will last longer than a month this time!! I will post a testimonial on your website for the Oscon!

Thanks again.

Maria L., 4/13/2009

Hey Gary- Can’t believe how much better my son Steve is doing now that he is taking Oscon. After about 5 or 6 days the pain had reduced substantiallly and after about 10 days both the Osgood-Schlatter and Severs pain (which he had had for 6 months) were pretty much gone. The bump on his knee has almost disappeared after the first bottle and he is finally running like the Steve of old. Thank you so much for finding a cure for something that has so many of our young athletes in so much pain. I play a lot of tennis and a good number of us suffer from planters fasciitis, tennis elbow and tendonitis? Do you know if the Oscon would help with any of these ailments?

Mary O., 4/8/2009

Gary, My older daughter took Oscon for her knee pain several years ago, and it worked miracles! My younger daughter (12) plays soccer just like her older sister, and she was experiencing the same pain. I had a left over bottle of Oscon so she started taking it and it is working for her too. I have recommended this product to so many people whose kids have had the same pain and it really seems to work. So many of us have taken our kids to countless Doctors and Physical Therapy places with no results….except for the bills that kept adding up! I can’t thank you more for something that seems too easy, but I am happy to say it has worked for us – 2X.

Thanks,

Cheri C. 4/3/2009

I wanted to let you know that I just ordered a 2nd bottle of Oscon for my gymnast daughter who has been suffering from Severs Disease. She is doing much better, and her timetable for recovery was almost precisely as you predicted–she improved after 5 days, was much better after 2 weeks, and is doing much, much better now. Not quite totally pain-free, but certainly manageable.

She competed at a meet last week, and didn’t complain of heel pain at all. In contrast, at the previous meet (before Oscon) she had to scratch from vault, as the pain was so severe she could not make it down the runway.

Thanks!

Susan C., 4/2/2009

Dear Gary,

Thank you so much for your personal reply.

The recovery in our son, Brendan, is almost miraculous! He was first diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter late last year after complaining about pain when he pressed on a small bump under his left knee. He is a top-level hockey player and is on the ice almost every day. While worrisome, the “bump” didn’t seem to bother him when he skated and the doctor advised that there was nothing we could really do anyway. At that time I didn’t know much about what Osgood-Schlatter was and it didn’t really concern me that much (so long as it didn’t affect his skating!)

In January, our son competed for and made the U16 BC Best Ever team in our zone. The U16 Best Ever Event is a high performance program which brings together the top ice hockey players from around the province to compete at an all-star tournament, called the BC Cup in mid April. It is a pre-cursor to the U17 Best Ever Program, which is a pre-cursor to the World Juniors. By the end of January, however, the Osgood-Schlatter in his knee had considerably worsened and it was very difficult for him to skate. By early February, he had to quit his minor hockey team because the skating required in games and practices was just too intense and the resulting pain, excruciating. He kept skating in low key semi-private sessions.

Two doctors gave completely opposite advice. One said that he could keep skating (with pain killers) because doing so wouldn’t cause any further damage to his knee; the other said that he would have to be sidelined for a few months until the knee got better because if he continued to skate, it would definitely cause more damage. We took him to a physiotherapist whom we have great respect for. He has treated both my husband and myself in the past and he is very knowledgeable in the area of sports medicine etc. He advised, of course, that Osgood-Schlatter is not typically treated by standard physiotherapy but that the prognosis for Brendan need not be bleak. His opinion was that Brendan wouldn’t do any further damage to his knee if he continued to skate but that he should take a couple of weeks off because his knee was hot and inflamed. I asked him to monitor Brendan’s progress and he developed a set of strengthening exercises for him to do 3-4 times per week.

In the meantime, I decided to google “Osgood-Schlatter” and happened onto your website. Although skeptical at first, the testimonials were just too much to ignore. I am also a great believer in taking natural supplements to heal the body. I had nothing to lose! I ordered two bottles of Oscon and the OS Short Sleeve. When the shipment arrived about the middle of February, Brendan started taking the Oscon right away but did not return to the ice until the beginning of March. Although, relatively pain-free, he was very apprehensive about using his left leg in drills, etc. And this led to him falling down a heck of a lot, as well as skating straight-legged! We wondered what was going on. U16 was only six weeks away and a decision needed to be made as to whether or not Brendan would be able to compete. We had expected that he would just start skating around the first time back as good as new! Luckily, our physiotherapist was able to guide us through our worries and concerns and explained to us that even though Brendan’s pain was better and his knee structurally sound, his brain was still experiencing what his knee had just gone through. Any twinge, however slight, would cause his brain to tell him not to use his knee (even with the OS sleeve on for extra support.) He said that it was totally normal for him to not be “as good as new” right away and that it would take time to be back to his “old self.” He continued with his skating, gradually increasing the tempo, all the while continuing with Oscon.

It is now just over one month since our son has been taking Oscan. The metamorphosis is astounding! Just yesterday, his trainer announced during his ice-session, “Gulka’s back!!!” He is so pleased with Brendan’s progress and so are we. And as far as I’m concerned, we owe it all to you and your product! I know that, in spite of all the things that we were doing to manage it, there is just no way that he would have made such a startling recovery without it. Needless to say, his hope of competing at the BC Cup would have been dashed. Thank you so much.

As well as the tournament in April, Brendan has spring hockey beginning and major-midget tryouts coming up in August, so I am keeping him on the twice-a-day regimen for the next couple of months, just to be on the safe side. He is also going through a big growth spurt right now too, so I figure the extra dosage of the supplement certainly can’t hurt!

Once again, thank you for your wonderful product and I would be happy to share our experience with other parents.

Sincerely,

Tina G., 3/27/2009

I just ordered a second bottle of Oscon – my daughter is 12 years old and plays competitive soccer. She was diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatters about 6 weeks ago. She was in a lot of pain, brought on by activity. She was very tentative because of the extreme pain she experienced when her knees were even tapped, not to mention the agony when she was hit in a game or practice. 5 days after starting the first bottle of Oscon, she was pain free. She has been able to resume her normal training/practice routine with no problem. We’ve forgotten pre-game ibuprofin and post game ice a few times in the last couple of weeks and were thrilled to find that she was still having no pain. We’ll for sure take the Oscon through league play (the next 5 weeks), then will ease up to see how she does.

Amy D., 3/9/2009 Personal Coach

The product is Great; has stopped almost all of my sons pain with the 1st bottle. Thanks

David H., 3/2/2009

Hey Gary,

A big thumbs up for your Oscon product!

I have had over 20 youth athletes (soccer and baseball) use your product during the past few years with excellent results. In both Osgood Schlatters and Severs cases, all but one athlete saw a 90-100% reduction in pain in the one month course, usually in just two weeks. In the other case there was considerable improvement after one week but the pain decreased and increased in a wave pattern over the course of about an 8-9 month soccer season. I believe that without Oscon and specific conditioning he would not have been able to complete the last season. This athlete is a about at 95-100% going into this spring. He is a little of a late bloomer at 15 and that plus extensive foot skill work has likely contributed to a minor chronic pain issue. I expect he will be at 100% this season.

Osgoods is pretty common with soccer players and I always include Oscon in my training advice. It works! Feel free to use my name as a satisfied customer.

I ordered a bottle in January. My daughter took the full bottle, and then I took her back for new x-rays a week ago. There is very noticeable improvement in the tendon. It has actually closed back to the bone quite a bit. However, she is still having some pain from time to time. It isn’t the same as before, so my husband and I thought we should try a second bottle. As of right now, though, we are pleased with the results from the Oscon. Thanks.

Billie F., 2/23/2009

Dear Gary, I do not recall how long ago we first contacted you – but we’ve just been to the sports doctor and he says that Eden (16 years old now) has completely outgrown (or recovered from) OS. With your Oscon and (especially) the help of those knee braces / knee supports, Eden has not had to slow her schedule at all, and has only missed one day of classes for knee pain, and that was quite a while ago. ANYWAY, now she is a senior ballerina and a stage actress at The Cumberland County Playhouse. The x-ray and the doctor say she is completely healed. Thank you for your help, and you may use this testimonial and photos. May you be encouraged; we were!

Hi Gary, Thank you for the input in regards to the use of the 2nd round of Oscon. My 13 year old son who plays soccer year round has been suffering from pain in both his knees for about 8 months. We iced them and made sure he stretched well before every game but he still hurt pretty bad. He was chosen recently to try out for the Olympic Development Program in Colorado, and after his first tryout, along with freezing weather outside, the pain in his knees was so severe he was near tears on the way home. I found your site, purchased the Oscon and two knee braces in January. What an incredible difference. He had his second tryout this past weekend and he was in full form, absolutely no pain! We have followed the dosage exactly with the first bottle and will continue the same for the next couple of weeks until his third tryout is complete and then we’ll see how his knees feel. If needed, we’ll go to one dose a day. I am passing this information along to other kids on his team as so many seem to be suffering from the same pain. This has made such a difference in his life as well as his attitude. The pain can be so discouraging for them and to be able to get past the pain and play their best makes an incredible difference.

Thank you again,

The Jacksons, Colorado, 2/8/2009

Dear Sir,

My daughter is a competitive gymnast. We have used the OSCON for her heal pain with fantastic results. Thank you for a simple solution to a painful situation. I was wondering if you have a similar solution to another painful situation. Our little gymnast suffers often with elbow joint pain, the Dr. has said it is Tennis Elbow. Do you have any other magic compounds to help like the OSCON did her Severs.

Thanks Again,

Diana M., 2/8/2008

To whom it may concern;

My son plays AAA level hockey and suffered from Osgood-Schlatter for 3 years before I found your web page and started him on Oscon.

The doctor said he’ll outgrow it, just elevate and treat with ibuprofen. This advice was never a solution to his pain.

I am happy to say he has remarked that he has virtually no pain playing hockey anymore and has been able to ski(wearing the brace)this winter as well.He has not been able to do that and play hockey in a very long time.We started off on a twice a day dose wearing the brace for practice and 2 games a weekend. The second bottle he took once a day and wears the brace for any strenuous activity involving the knee.

He has told me that wearing this brace allows him to ski anything on the mountain and enjoy hockey without pain.WOW thank you so much for this great product. We will use again if need be in the 3-6 month range and I have referred many to your web site.

Thanks so much!!!

Gary, This is our 3rd or 4th bottle for our 12 year old. She is a competitive cheerleader and dancer. She practices 3 to 5 days a week. It is her life. She is passionate and we are proud. We were very concerned when one of the tumbling coaches at her gym told us what he thought her knee pain was from. After research and confirmation we learned most of our info from you about this condition. We eagerly awaited our first bottle of Oscon and she took it faithfully. It was amazing, along with regular ice packing after practices, how effective Oscon was and is on the swelling and the pain. She loves it. Thank you for having an effective product that is affordable to help our child.

JoEll and Todd S., 1/28/2009

I just wanted to thank you for making such a product that totally eliminated my son’s heel pain. We took him to a doctor that told us that he had Severs and the only thing he could do is limit his running, use heel cups/pads and use the RICE method and over time he will grow out of it. I can tell you that did not help him and then I found your OSCON product. After approx 10 days he started to notice a difference and after a one month supply, the Severs is completely gone. It was hard to image that a little pill would help this issue, but it did and he is back on the lacrosse field with no pain. Thank you so much for this product. Now we just need our medical community to wake up and find alternatives to traditional cures.

Tod S. – Orange County, CA, 1/23/2009

We love this product. It allows my daughter to continue in gymnastics, a sport she truly loves and excels at. Thanks so much!

Thanks. We have ordered several times, and it always works!

Hey Gary, my name is Jeramie Bartlett, I am purchasing these pills for my daughter, 11 years old. We have purchased them once before. They releived alot of her pain and swelling at that time. She is very active. She plays on a club basketball team, and we practice 2-3 times a week and games on weekends. I have been reluctant to buy anymore because we have been using ice and ibuprofen, and a knee brace. We decided to buy another bottle because it helped so well the first time. I even noticed a girl from another team that wasn’t playing for weeks, so when we asked her why, she said it was because of her Os-schl on her knee. We mentioned Oscon to her and they heard of it but were debating to buy it, we told them our story and they said they were going to go ahead and try some. I know it works better for some than others, but we are happy.

Thanks
